Agile games

4-6 October 2017

John McIntyre Conference Centre, Edinburgh

A 90 minute Workshop by:

Anja Stiedl

About this Workshop

Games at work? Play - seriously! Games can be used in various situations in a work context: for training and coaching, for learning, for team building, for releasing creativity and thinking out of the box.

This workshop will lead you through the theory of using games at work, discuss setting the context and debriefing the insights, preparing the ground for learning. You'll get to know several games - some in theory, others in practice: play and learn!

You'll leave with a toolbox full of games for learning agile and lean practices and mindsets. All game instructions are available on the internet, and materials are easy to find or construct. Start games at work and lead your teams to more ideas and creativity!

About the Speaker

After years in software development, training and coaching, Anja Stiedl found her passion in the human side of agile: open communication and collaboration, courage and respect within and between teams, transparency, trust and humanity in organisations.

Anja is a scrum and kanban professional, a certified business coach and works as an agile coach for improuv GmbH in Munich, Germany. She supports software development teams for different customers, such as NCR, Infineon, BMW and Siemens.

She likes to radically question the status quo, bringing in new ideas and methods, driving improvements, challenging herself and others, whilst still having fun at work!
