Gall contented that a working complex system evolves from a simple working system. If this is the case, can we design organisations as they are socio-technical in nature and therefore complex by definition?
This session will explore the implications of this and an approach that is constraint based that allows for emergence. This will use a couple of examples of large transformation programmes that have followed this approach.
