Europe's practitioner conference for modern product, engineering and organisational improvement

Running since 2012, Lean Agile Scotland returns to the John McIntyre Conference Centre, Edinburgh for its 13th edition - practitioners teaching practitioners, multiple session formats, and a social evening in one of Europe's most inspiring cities.

Designed to spark ideas, share practical insights and support meaningful learning - where theory meets practice. This year's theme is The Age of Disruption.

What is Lean Agile Scotland?

Lean Agile Scotland (LAS) is a practitioner-led conference held annually in Edinburgh. Since 2012, it has brought together people who design, build and improve products, teams and organisations, making it one of Europe's longest-running lean and agile conferences.

Each year, around 250 software engineers, engineering managers, product managers, delivery leaders, agile coaches and organisational change practitioners come together for two days of keynotes, workshops, case studies, lean coffees and open discussions.

Over thirteen years, sessions have covered software engineering, continuous delivery, DevOps, test driven development, Kanban, flow metrics, systems thinking, organisational design, psychological safety, product management, UX, architecture, engineering leadership, team dynamics, AI, sustainability, diversity and inclusion, resilience, complexity and much more. The programme evolves every year to reflect what practitioners are actually grappling with.

Organised by Software Acumen, a professional conference organiser with over 22 years of experience in the technology sector. The 2026 conference takes place on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October at the John McIntyre Conference Centre, Edinburgh.
