About the session

Have you ever struggled with creating alignment between the members of a team? What does our approach of coaching individuals leave on the table? What if we focus on interaction between the individuals instead of the individuals themselves? In this workshop, we will demonstrate coaching the interactions between the individuals to create alignment. We will use LandsWork, a group coaching activity from Organisational and Relationship System Coaching, to simulate the coaching technique - a must-have for all coaches.

Unlike the traditional coaching approach where you coach an individual, this workshop presents an activity that is used to coach the relationship between individuals. You will participate in a simulation workshop where we will go through each step of the activity and map out the different viewpoints that each of the different groups held in the context of the simulation. Walk away with a powerful and practical tool in your toolkit as a relationship and system coach that you can use when faced with lack of alignment and help enrich organisations.

Participants will be able to:

  • Comprehend the importance of relationship as a third entity
  • Comprehend the meta-skills required in relationship coaching
  • Apply Lands Work to situations where different points of view exist to create alignment, empathy, and relationships to build solutions on.
