About the session
Theme: Lean
Small problems, like a leaky tap, often go unnoticed, until they flood your day. In our teams too, we often work around the leaks instead of fixing them. But what if we could gather everyone around the sink, look under the hood, and fix the issue together, in just one hour?
This hands-on workshop brings the concept of mini-kaizen to life using a practical 4-step approach fuelled by the wisdom of the crowd.
Just like fixing a tap: you spot the leak, find the root cause, get the right tools, and fix it.
Participants will learn how to apply lean problem-solving in a simple, quick, and inclusive way, without needing a plumber.
Participant takeaways:
- Discover how small, visible issues (leaky taps) can be opportunities for team growth
- Apply a structured, 4-step mini-kaizen method in just one hour
- Learn how to use collective insights to diagnose problems and co-create solutions
- Foster a culture of shared ownership and continuous improvement
- Leave with a ready-to-use toolkit for running one-hour crowd-powered problem-solving huddles
- Real-world case study experience of successful implementation
