In this session, we explore the synergy between Kanban, Developer Experience (DevEx), and Knowledge Discovery Efficiency (KEDE).

DevEx focuses on software developers' emotions, thoughts, and work attitudes, influenced by Cognitive Load, Feedback Loops, and Flow State. 

Kanban aligns with these dimensions by reducing Cognitive Load, enabling effective Feedback Loops, and facilitating Flow State, enhancing productivity and innovation.

We introduce KEDE to quantify developers' knowledge gaps, aiding in measuring Cognitive Load and Flow State effectiveness.

This talk will demonstrate how Kanban and KEDE can optimise DevEx by providing actionable insights for organisations to improve their development practices, ensuring tasks are clear, feedback is swift, and engagement is deep.
