An enthusiastic agile and lean practitioner since 2003. Has used these methodologies as catalysts to create more innovative products and organisations.

Led the delivery of digital platforms in a variety of sectors, including finance, government, healthcare, telecommunications, and aviation.

Has full product lifecycle experience, from ideation to benefits realisation.

In a nutshell, a leader by example with hands-on experience in agile/lean, and an engineering and consultancy background.

Robert Elbourn

Rob is a Product Management Practice lead with HSBC.

An introduction to agile and lean in 2007 fundamentally changed the way he developed code and approached software development, and he has been an agile and lean practitioner since, developing and later providing hands on expertise to a number of different organisations particularly in the Telco and Banking sectors.

He has helped lead transformations from writing and delivering agile training both at the leadership level and the development team level. This included organising communities of practice, coaching teams, running workshops and occasionally development.

A huge believe in the power and potential of people, Rob loves pragmatically bringing all on the journey believing everyone can learn and even has his own hobbyist youtube channel (RobTheFrugalist)
