About the session

Are you frustrated in one or more of your significant relationships? Do you see yourself as a hero; there to save the day and recue your team members? Perhaps you know it all and just wish everyone would do what you said? If so, this session is for you! In this session you’ll learn what the Drama Triangle is, your role in it and what you can do to free yourself from the drama.

This session is aimed at everyone - we all have relationships ( i.e. family, friends, co-workers) and in each of these we naturally assume one of the traits of The Drama Triangle. My intention to speak about this subject is to provide awareness to the audience on perhaps why some of their relationships are toxic or dysfunctional and what they can do to have less drama in their home and work life.

Participants will be able to:

  • Learn what the Drama Triangle is and identify characteristics of the three main traits; victim, persecutor, and rescuer
  • strategies to successfully reframe the behaviours of each role
  • ideally learn to step outside the triangle and assume “responder” trait

Themes: Coaching, Communication, Change, People, Relationships, Teamwork
